Harpers Ferry


Harpers Ferry is a place of great historical significance which is best known for abolitionist John Brown's raid in 1859. Harpers Ferry has John Brown's Fort and a Civil War Museum, and the city has many buildings that were built in the 1800s, which have been preserved. Harpers Ferry is the site were the Potomac and Shenandoah Rivers meet, which is known as "The Point." Harpers Ferry is a key stop along the famous Appalachian Trail, which spans from Georgia to Maine. #RoadTrippinUSA
