Sultanahmet, Istanbul, Turkey

Drone Footage of Sultanahmet in Istanbul, Turkey

Sultanahmet is a top tourist area in Istanbul, Turkey, located on the Europe side of the city. It includes top tourist attractions such as the Sultan Ahmed Mosque (Blue Mosque), Hagia Sofia Museum, Hippodrome of Constantinople, German Fountain, and many other attractions at and around Sultanahmet Square.

I shot this drone footage from my hostel, Agora Guesthouse, which is wihitin walking distance of Sultanahmet Square and Arasta Bizarre.

Istanbul is the only city in the world that sits on two separate continents, Europe and Asia, and has a population of about 15.5 million people.

In two words, I'd describe Istanbul as a city of mosques and rugs.

It is a great place for travelers, as Istanbul is a major travel hub.

Big bus and boat tours are available at an affordable price.

Turkish cuisine is unique and delicious.

Turkish people are very friendly and welcoming, and many speak Engllish.

Istanbul is a very cosmopolitan city with great diversity, at the crossroads of two continents and multiple cultures, that all offer something different.
